Gbemso, the partner of Nigerian comedian MC Fish, has opened up about her career journey and why she quit her three-year job in the oil and gas industry.
Speaking during a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, she explained that before securing her 9-5 job, she was involved in event planning and artist management, but having her child made it difficult to continue with those activities.
According to Gbemso, she later gained popularity and decided to leave her oil and gas job while exploring opportunities connected to her existing contacts.
“I quit my three years old oil and gas job due to my newfound popularity, I left it. Prior to my 9-5 job, I was doing event planning and artist management, then I had my kid with my baby daddy, and when that happened I couldn’t continue with it.
So what I just did is, since I have my contacts, and my baby is an MC, I started building my business around MC Fish and it’s going well,” she explained.
Gbemo’s revelation comes amid the ongoing social media dispute between MC Fish and his estranged wife, actress Anita Joseph.
MC Fish made several allegations against Anita, including claiming that her use of waist trainers contributed to the loss of their child. He also claimed to have screenshots and recorded conversations concerning her alleged dealings with an unnamed man of God.
The latest allegations have added another layer to the public fallout between the estranged couple.
