A lady has shared how she challenged an F grade she got in one of her university courses after approaching the professor in charge to request a remark of her examination script.
The lady, identified as @ladycee on X, said the incident occurred during her final year first semester when she received a result she found difficult to believe.
Lady confronts professor over F grade
According to her, she met the professor and insisted that something was wrong with her result.
“Final year first semester had an F. Couldn’t believe it. Went to meet the Prof in charge and told him something was wrong,” she wrote.
She said the lecturer became angry and questioned why she dared to challenge his marking.
Professor gives her a maths test
The student claimed the professor gave her a mathematics question to solve and warned that she would be severely punished if she failed.
“He got angry and asked how dare I. Gave me something to solve and said if I failed it he’d punish me real bad,” she recalled.
She added: “I solved the maths question in 10 minutes. He then looked at me and asked, ‘Who are you?’ I introduced myself and told him I needed a remarking.”
Grade changes from F to B
The lady further revealed that the professor brought out her examination script and discovered that it had not been completely marked.
“Brought out my script only to find out they didn’t finish marking it. Remarked and had a B,” she added.
