The Kano State Police Command has handed over two recovered properties to their rightful owners at the Command Headquarters, Bompai, Kano.
The properties include one orange Vibe motor vehicle and one ash colour Haojue motorcycle which were recovered through intelligence-led operations.
The Command said following conclusion of necessary verification, authentication of ownership documents and proper documentation, the vehicles were formally handed over to the owners.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude and commended the Command for its professionalism and commitment to ensuring justice is served.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, congratulated the owners on the recovery of their properties and reiterated that this is in line with the policing vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, which emphasizes protection of lives and property, restoration of stolen property to victims of crime, and building public trust through transparent and accountable service delivery.
The Commissioner assures the public that the Command remains committed to making Kano State safe and secure, and to ensuring that all recovered stolen properties are returned to their legitimate owners after due verification.
