Iran is following Qur’anic texts in enforcing its ill treatment of women. Women have few rights in Islam and are considered inferiors to men. While the lie persists that it is not a religious requirement for women to accept the ultimate insult and cover themselves, it is dictated in the Qur’an. Those who fight it, they are opposing Islamic law and there can be stiff penalties for that, including imprisonment and death. 19-year-old Makan Davari “has been sentenced to death by an Iranian court on a charge of ‘waging war against God’ as the government cracked down on campaigners.” The veiling passages in the Qur’an are these:
(Quran 24:31) And tell the believing women to reduce of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
(Quran 33:59) O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused.
The death penalty for “waging war against Allah” is based on Qur’an 5:33. Iran continues to murder courageous young dissidents and its brightest minds because they are deemed to be waging war against Allah in their support for human rights for women and for all people.
“Iran teenager facing execution for ‘protecting women from attack’ backed by major campaign,” by Isabella Marsans, Express, February 7, 2023:
A petition has been launched to save an Iranian teenager being executed and to raise awareness to the atrocities committed in Iran after Makan Davari was sentenced following a trial on Christmas Eve 2022. He is currently detained in Iran in prison.
The change.org petition has already garnered 546,630 signatures and hopes to gather enough supporters to “bring the world’s attention to this atrocity and potentially stop Makan’s unjust and unlawful detention and looming execution”.
Petition creator Nazanin wrote the teen, who is from Langarud, a small city in the northern province of Gilan, Iran, was arrested during the first week of the Iranian protests while returning home from gym.
The 19-year-old was arrested whilst trying to protect a group of women who were being assaulted by the regime, the creator claimed.
Davari is said to be the only son of a single mother suffering from leukaemia….
Human rights groups say more than 500 demonstrators have been killed, including 70 minors, and around 20,000 have been arrested…..
