I haven’t touched my N120m prize money – BBNaija winner, Ilebaye

Ilebaye Odiniya has revealed that she is yet to spend a dime from the N120 million grand prize she received for winning the Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’.

The happy-go-lucky reality TV star made this known via her Snapchat account while having an interactive session with fans.

A follower implied that people perceive Ilebaye as broke amongst her colleagues because she does not flaunt lavish lifestyle on social media as much as others.

In reaction, the Kogi-born model boasted that her name and the word ‘broke’ would never be in the same circle because brokenness is not her portion.

The 23-year-old further expressed gratitude to the BBNaija platform for making her get her own money, emphasising that because she does not post luxury items does not mean she doesn’t have.

Ilebaye wrote; “Lmaoo! When it comes to being broke, don’t add Ilebaye’s name to that circle girl! lol, brokenness isn’t my portion and I thank God for using Big Brother to have my own money. Because I don’t post doesn’t mean I don’t have.

If I dey post, una for die of hate. I’m saving you guys from unnecessary High BP. I never even touch that 120M yet. Lmao you think it’s by posting designers that make you rich”.

CorrectNG recalls that Ilebaye, the eighth winner of the reality show since inception, said she will make good use of the N120 million grand prize.

She made a promise to her fans and colleagues not to waste the prize money as opined by critics while speaking during the winner’s prize presentation, two days after she was declared as the season’s champion.

The brand influence thanked her co-housemates and also said she will make them proud, and not to disappoint them.

Ilebaye said; “Thank you guys so much, I am really happy to be your star. And to my housemates, thank you guys so much, I promise to make you guys proud, I promise not to disappoint you guys and I promise to make good use of the money. Thank you so much, I love you all”.
