Chioma, the biological sister to Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo has taken to social media once again to mourn his death.
It would be recalled that Alexx Ekubo passed away in after a prolonged battle with kidney cancer.
Alexx Ekubo’s Burial
His burial rites were held in his hometown Arochukwu, Abia State, concluding June 18, 2026.
The actor’s body arrived his hometown in a convoy and made a brief stop at the Eze Arochukwu’s palace before proceeding to his family compound.
Alexx Ekubo’s Sister Speaks
In a tribute on Instagram, Chioma shared that her brother’s demise has left her utterly shattered.
Recalling their unforgettable memories, she stated, “You hurt me brother by taking the way you did without a proper goodbye. I hope you are watching and not silent”.
Alexx Ekubo’s Biography
Alexx Ikenna Ekubo-Okwaraeke was born on April 10, 1986 in Arochukwu, Abia State, Nigeria.
He attended Federal Government College Daura in Katsina State before studying law at the University of Calabar.
Notably, in 2021, he received an honorary degree in arts and culture from ISCG University in Cotonou, Benin.
He was known for playing charismatic and comedic characters that blended humor with emotional depth.
Notably, his passing leaves behind an irreplaceable void in the Nigerian movie industry.
