“He Was Not An Ordinary Man” – 2Face Idibia Continues To Mourn Sound Sultan

Veteran Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia, is still in a sad mood as he continues to mourn his friend, Sound Sultan days after his death.

In a post sighted on his Twitter page, he mentioned that South Sultan was not an ordinary man as anyone who met or knows him personally can relate to what he means. He added that he learned how to be humble from South Sultan.

2face said;

“Lanre/sultan/aguy My dear friend, he was not an ordinary human. Anybody that has had the privilege of knowing or meeting him can reflect on that and see what I’m saying. When pple say I’m humble I bow becos I dey learn compared to Sultan. 11th July SOUND SULTAN DAY Forever!”.

Legendary singer, Sound Sultan was notable for using his music to speak against poverty, corruption, bad governance and societal ills in Nigeria. He died at the age of 44 as a result of complications from an illness.
