Popular Ugandan singer Bruno K has appealed to the public to help locate an American serviceman who has been accused of leaving two children with their mother in Mbarara, Uganda.

The singer launched the appeal after meeting Juliet Mbabazi, who identified the man as Travis Preston and claimed that he was the father of her two children.
According to Mbabazi, she and Preston were married for about two years and had two children together, aged three and seven. She said Preston later returned to the United States and stopped providing support for the family, leaving her to raise the children alone.
Bruno K has since called on Ugandans living in the United States, particularly those with connections to the US military, to assist in locating Preston.
The singer also said he wants the matter investigated so that the children can establish whether they qualify for US citizenship or other assistance through their alleged father’s citizenship.
