Pirna – The accusation is reminiscent of scenes from a bad film: according to it, Moustafa A. (31) jumped out of a bush, grabbed a little boy (then 6) and wanted to disappear with the child. The kidnapping was foiled. Now the Syrian was sitting in front of the magistrate in Pirna. But there was no verdict.
“It was scary,” recalled Sophia P. (17), who was with her little brother and a friend (18) in Niedervogelgesang on the Elbe in May 2020 in the afternoon.
“Someone was sitting behind us in the bushes. I found that strange, wanted to go home. The man jumped out of the bush, grabbed my brother, kept shouting ‘My son. My son’ and wanted to leave with him.”
Sophia fought with all her might for her terrified brother, screamed for help. She took a beating. Her friend helped but was also beaten.
Tourists who saw the commotion alerted the police. Only then did Moustafa, who incidentally has or had no children, finally put the boy down.
It wasn’t his only sinister act.
A compatriot (32) reported: “My girlfriend was waiting for me in front of the house. When I approached her, he attacked me aggressively and wanted to ‘kill me as an infidel’, he kept shouting ‘Allahu akbar.’”
In both cases, police officers who rushed to the scene reported that Moustafa “was standing next to him,” “stared,” or appeared “confused.”
The accused denied: “There was no argument,” he explained about the incident with the siblings. The compatriot had “ripped his hair out.”
Moustafa now lives in the Dahme-Spreewald district, takes medication and has a supervisor. The judge interrupted the process and is now preparing a psychiatric report.
