Germany: Antifa attacks shop selling Israeli delicacies

The left always aligns with the jihad.

On Saturday night there was a paint attack on the residential and commercial building of Franz Laslo, a member of the AfD parliamentary group in the local council, on Gottlieb-Daimler-Strasse in Schorndorf, Baden-Württemberg. In a self-accusation letter from the so-called “Antifa”, left-wing extremists confessed to the anti-Semitic attack on the Jewish-Oriental business, reports city councilor Lars Haise on Facebook.

Several Christmas tree balls filled with red paint hit the facade of the building, in which Franz Laslo has been running his Jewish-oriental shop “BeitShalom” for many years. There are lots of excellent products from Israel for sale there. Laslo is an AfD member and a friend of Israel, as he spent many years there.

“Since open anti-Semitism is rarely shown outwardly even in left-wing circles, people hide behind so-called ‘criticism of Israel,’” wrote Lars Haise. “The fact that one specifically attacks Jewish shops and institutions has not changed for the left-wing extremists.”

For Franz Laslo, it is not the first attack that has been carried out on his building. The newspaper publisher Waiblingen (ZVW) outlines in its reporting on the new attack also the other shameful acts that have already hit the shop in Schorndorf’s old town. In 2017, several shots were fired at the shop window. Just a year later, there was another shop window attack with a heavy hammer. Shortly thereafter, Laslo complained of a verbal attack, as a result of which he was spat at. However, the alleged perpetrator of the spitting attack was acquitted.

Franz Laslo spoke of the fact that “left-wing terrorism has long since established itself in Schorndorf.” The images of the cowardly attack of masked “Antifa” thugs on the AfD state candidate Stephan Schwarz at an election stand on February 20 went around the world. Five suspects were caught, but released shortly afterwards. Since then, there has been no further report of success.

The left-wing terror in Schorndorf, meanwhile, has a long track that began with the 2019 local elections. Last year, the “Remstalstuben” restaurant was visited by left-wing extremists. This was preceded by demonstrations by the violent “Antifa” under the auspices of the “Open Antifascist Meeting Rems-Murr” (OATRM) against the innkeeper, who opened his doors to all other democratic parties and remained steadfast despite all attempts at defamation. Then the landlord was “visited,” as it is called in the “Antifa” language, and property damage was perpetrated.

The local press has so far not been ready to properly examine the left-wing extremist network in the Rems-Murr district, according to AfD city councilor Lars Haise, although they must have extensive research. On the contrary, the perpetrators are regularly played down by the local press as “activists,” “protesters” or “demonstrators.” Physical assaults on AfD members are usually ridiculed as “mobbing” or “scuffling.” In addition, the local press regularly uses image material from a left-wing extremist “journalist,” for example during the protests in front of the “Remstalstuben.”…
