A Nigerian lady has opened up about her terrifying encounter with kidnappers while on a field trip in Zaria, Kaduna State in 2017.
In a post on her X handle, the lady disclosed that during the trip to a remote community alongside other passengers, they encountered kidnappers.
Lady Recounts Terrifying Encounter With Kidnappers
However, one of the kidnappers sought clarity on where they were heading to.
According to the lady, she realized the kidnappers had ties with the community leaders.
Meanwhile, one of the kidnapper reached out to the community leader to inquire about expected visitors.
” If he had, we might still be there today… cooking for them. Thankfully, they let us go and even warned us not to use that route again“, She added.
Eventually, they were freed and warned by the kidnappers not to pass the path anymore.
Due to the incident, one of her enumerators refused to go to the survey area for three days.
