FG Begins ₦30,000 TVET Stipend as Trainees Receive Fresh Payment Alerts

Some beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme have shared bank alerts showing fresh ₦30,000 stipend payments.

The alerts, dated November 6, 2026, describe the credits as “TVETStipendsAugust”, indicating that they relate to the August stipend. Some trainees believe it to be July payments. Screenshots show payments through banks including Access Bank, but do not establish that all trainees have been paid.

The development comes as beneficiaries await other outstanding payments. At a November 6 meeting involving the Federal Ministry of Education (FME), Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and centre managers, October stipend payments were said to be expected soon. Outstanding supplementary stipends and centre payments were still being processed.

What beneficiaries should know

The new alerts point to August stipend payments, not October disbursement. They do not confirm that payments have been completed nationwide. Trainees should check their bank accounts and use the support ticket system on their programme dashboards to report serious payment complaints.
