Trainees under the Federal Government’s TVET training programme have been given a fresh directive to complete their outstanding assessments before the arrival of starter packs, certificates and remaining stipends.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) trainees who have not completed their assessments should contact their centre heads between Thursday, November 5, and Thursday, November 12, 2026.
The centre heads are expected to coordinate with quality assessors currently at the centres to ensure that affected participants complete the assessment process within the deadline.
The update also declared a beneficiary list circulated on some platforms about two weeks earlier unauthentic and null and void. Trainees were advised not to rely on the circulated list.
Furthermore, the update warned that participants who registered using mobile banking platforms might experience difficulties receiving their stipends. Those who fail to complete their assessments were also warned that they could miss the programme’s incentives.
The incentives mentioned include stipends, certificates and starter packs expected under the training programme.
Trainees were urged to remain calm and follow the official process while awaiting further instructions. However, the announcement was shared by a network provider and should be confirmed with the relevant programme management or centre heads.
What trainees should do
Participants with outstanding assessments should visit their centre heads before November 12, 2026, and arrange to complete the required assessment with the quality assessors. They should also wait for official instructions before making changes to their banking details or relying on circulated beneficiary lists.
