THE COURT IN HOLBÆK: This is a particularly violent charge in the case of the 37-year-old pregnant woman who was killed next to her car in front of the care center in Holbæk where she worked on Thursday.
According to the charge against two arrested persons, a 33-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, the arrested woman instigated and planned the murder via WhatsApp, among other things. While the 24-year-old man carried out the actual bloody act.
The victim was killed with several stab wounds to the body, legs and arms and had her throat slit, according to the charge, which was read out in court by the prosecutor.
The woman was pregnant in the 3rd trimester and approximately 7 months pregnant,
The murder happened at approximately 11:10PM on Thursday, when the victim was assaulted in front of her workplace. The woman had just got into her little blue car when she was stabbed with the knife and pulled out of the car. A colleague tried to prevent the murder, but had to run for help and raise the alarm.
The two arrested are, like the murder victim, Afghan citizens. The two plead not guilty.
The man was arrested on Monday at 9:11AM. The woman was arrested at 7AM this morning.
The names of the two arrested have not been disclosed.
After the charge was read out, the court closed its doors for the sake of the further investigation, where the judge must clarify whether there is a justified suspicion against the two, so that they can be remanded in custody.
The woman’s unborn child, a boy, was saved and is at the Rigshospitalet.
The police have stated that there is a relationship between the person killed and the 24-year-old man who was arrested at center Sandholm on Monday.
This morning, the police have stated that there is also a relationship between the arrested 33-year-old woman and the murdered woman.
