Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have given fans a first look at their intimate wedding after tying the knot in a private ceremony on August 11.
A series of photographs published by Vogue showed the couple exchanging their vows inside the living room of their £30 million mansion in Cascais, Portugal, choosing a quiet celebration at home rather than a large ceremony.

Rodríguez said the wedding was exactly what she had envisioned and admitted that she struggled to hold back her tears during the emotional moment.
‘It was exactly as I’d imagined it,’ said Rodriguez, admitting that she ‘couldn’t hold back the tears’.
According to Jornal de Notícias, a copy of the couple’s marriage certificate showed that only four witnesses were present during the ceremony, alongside their children.
Reports also claimed that Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, and his siblings, Hugo, Elma and Katia, were not present at the ceremony and reportedly only learned about the wedding shortly before it took place.
Despite the small gathering, Rodríguez explained that the couple could still hold a much larger celebration in the future.
“In the future we will have a big wedding so we can celebrate with family and friends,’ Rodriguez shared with Vogue following a ‘crazy year’ of commitments in both their work and personal lives.
Rodríguez also reflected on how her idea of a dream wedding had changed as she grew older.
“When I was a little girl, I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I’m saying, “No. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home.”
“Because castles, houses, islands, horses, cars: we have all of that within reach every day. But something intimate – that’s more unusual for us.”
For the couple, the decision to keep the ceremony private allowed them to focus on their family rather than the size or spectacle of the occasion.
Ronaldo also spoke about what becoming a husband could mean for his life and whether marriage would change his relationship with Rodríguez.
He said: “‘Just the fact of being man and wife – you enter a different league…… going on to say this is probably his last year of football’, so his future is all mapped out’ as he commits to spending more time with his family… not even ruling out the possibility of another child.
‘‘Another baby now would be overbooking at home. But when the youngest are 15 or 16, we’ll still be young, so why not? It’s true that I can’t imagine myself without small children, so we’ll see” said Rodriguez.
Ronaldo also made it clear that he remains open to whatever the future may bring.
“I never say never” Ronaldo said.
He continued: “I want to leave a spectacular legacy”
