CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’ Goes Gold in France
Nigerian Singer, CKay’s popular song, Love Nwantiti, has gone Gold in European country, France.
The song has now sold over five hundred thousand (500,000) units in France, making it a Gold-certified song. It is by far the most accomplished solo song by an African artiste.
Apart from Essence which was made by Tems and Wizkid, Love Nwantiti is the most charted song by African artiste this year. It has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, peaked on No. 1 on the Shazam US Charts, No. 1 of Shazam Global Charts, and many others.
The song has been remixed twice, the first remix was done with Joeboy and Ghanaian singer, Kuami Eugene, while the second was done with DJ Yo! and AX’EL.
The song’s popularity has made Ckay himself one of the most popular Nigerian artistes internationally. It was featured at the MET GALA 2021, used by Manchester United official TikTok page for several videos and more.
