Burna Boy Commends Nasty C For His Rapping Prowess

Popular Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has sparked reactions on social media as he has commended South African rapper, Nasty C for his unique rapping talents.

During a live interview, Burna Boy stated bluntly that he would bet his last penny on Nasty C and always choose him over other American rappers. He mentioned that Nasty C’s music should be considered rap and not Afrobeat because he is from Africa.

Burna Boy said;

“Yeah, everything is not Afrobeat. Nasty C is a rapper. And because he’s from Africa now, you’re going to say Afrobeat? Nah, he’s a rapper. Brah, I’ll put my money on Nasty C over almost any American rapper”.

Nasty C is one of South Africa’s best rappers and record producers. He was the youngest recipient of an award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards, namely the Best Freshman Award.
