Her burial service was held at São João Paulo II Parish in Brasília, Brazil, on September 15, where family, friends, and loved ones gathered to pay their final respects.

In a statement, the Civil Police of the Federal District confirmed that Alves’ death is being investigated as a suicide but declined to release further details, stating that the decision was made “in order to protect the privacy of the family.”
