The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reduced the number of Nigerians it intends to deport and posted a list of 112 people, including images, on its official website.
The latest list represents a drop from a previous, larger amount and includes Nigerians from all throughout the country.
The names and images were released by the DHS as part of what appears to be a campaign to publicly identify persons scheduled for deportation from the United States.
Nigerians are on the DHS deportation list
The list includes Cletus Onyali, Olaolu Alabi, Marcus Unigwe, Mkpouto Etukudoh, Blessing Uchanma, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Richard Ugbah, Oluwamuyiwa Olawoye, Anthony Asanya, and Ebele Agbasiele.
Others mentioned are Izuchukwu Okoye, Olufemi Olufisayo Olutiola, Abiemwense Obanor, Chibuzo Nwaonu, Oluchi Jennifer Chimdimma Chime, Ifeanyi Okoro, Oluwaseun Kassim, Quazeem Adeyinka, and Talatu Dada.
The DHS website contains the names of the remaining 112 persons, as well as images of them.
