“This isn’t about religion,” Boebert says, after apologizing for offending Muslims by calling Ilhan Omar part of the “Jihad Squad” and making a joke about her. Boebert says she will always work to protect our freedom. But what if the threat to freedom is coming from some of the adherents of a religion that is authoritarian, expansionist, aggressive and violent? She doesn’t consider that possibility, at least in this video. So this is just more of the same superficiality we have gotten from both parties since 2001.
