The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the timelines for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Monday, Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, said the sale of forms will now continue until midnight on Wednesday, May 6.
He added that the deadline for submission of completed forms has been shifted to midnight on Thursday, May 7.
According to the party, the screening of aspirants is scheduled to hold from May 8 to May 12, while the list of successfully screened candidates will be published on May 13.
The APC had earlier released its timetable for the 2027 elections, with the presidential primary fixed for May 15 and 16.
Other key dates include the House of Representatives primary on May 18, the Senate primary on May 20, state assembly primaries on May 21, and governorship primaries on May 23.
The adjustments come as political parties intensify preparations and internal processes ahead of the next general elections.
