Tinubu: ‘All those Saying I Want an Appointment Don’t Know What they Are Saying’ – Bode George

Southwest elder and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has dismissed claims that he is seeking an appointment in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He argued that he is too young to be vying for political appointments.

Bode George further stated that he has settled his rift with President Tinubu and will be happy to assist him in recommending young, knowledgeable individuals for appointments.

The former PDP National Chairman, who spoke to a Punch correspondent on Wednesday, said he has forgiven Bola Tinubu in order for peace to reign, as seeking vengeance is ungodly.

According to him, “All those saying I want an appointment (from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) don’t know what they are saying. What exactly do they want to happen to the young ones coming up? I said I had forgiven him. We had an issue, and people settled it for us, and I have forgotten about it.
