₦300 Million Business Grant: Ogoni Opens Registration for New Applicants – See Who Can Apply

The Ogoni Entrepreneurship and Career Development Summit (OES) has opened registration for its 2026 edition, featuring a ₦300 million business grant initiative for eligible entrepreneurs and businesses in Ogoniland.

The second edition of the summit is scheduled to hold from December 28 to 30, 2026, at the Ken Saro-Wiwa Memorial Park, Bane, Ogoniland.

Organisers said the event, themed “From Ideas to Enterprises: Building Careers, Financing Businesses and Transforming Ogoni,” will bring together entrepreneurs, professionals and students for three days of activities.

The programme will feature mentorship, exhibitions, networking, business opportunities, cultural performances. Its highlight is the ₦300 million business grant initiative intended to support eligible Ogoni entrepreneurs and businesses.

However, the official registration portal makes a distinction: completing the summit participation form does not automatically amount to an application for the grant. It also does not guarantee approval to attend. The organisers state that separate eligibility requirements and application procedures may apply to the grant.

The organisers have excluded people who received grants under the 2025 OES Summit from registering for, attending or applying for the 2026 edition. The restriction is intended to give new participants an opportunity to benefit.

Previous beneficiaries who recorded outstanding business performance may instead be considered for a separate Business Growth and Expansion Support Programme. The organisers say additional support under this arrangement will depend on business performance, progress and expansion potential.

The summit will hold across three themed days. December 28 is dedicated to ideas, inspiration and opportunities, while December 29 will focus on enterprise, investment and market access. The final day, December 30, will feature the grand OES concert.

Who can register

The organisers are inviting Ogoni indigenes, including entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, graduates, students and aspiring entrepreneurs who have not previously benefited from the OES Business Grant. The official form requires applicants to provide their Local Government Area and community of origin.

How to apply

Interested Ogoni indigenes should visit https://ogonisummit.org/application/ and complete the official participant registration form. Registration is subject to screening and approval. Applicants should note that this form is for summit participation; it is not the separate grant application.
