You don’t know how to sing – Portable drags Shallipopi as he hits top 3 on Apple Music
Controversial Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable has accused fast-rising artiste, Crown Uzama also known as Shallipopi of cheating his way to the top of music charts.
Shallipopi who recently got released from prison after being arrested and convicted for internet fraud, released a song titled Ex-Convict. Days after it dropped, the track hit the number 2 spot on Apple Music Nigeria and this seemed to provoke Portable.
The Zazuu star alleged that Shallipopi uses streaming farm to make his song rise to the top so fast. He also accused the promising singer of being a thief who does not know how to sing.
Portable went on to compare himself to the ‘Elon Musk’ crooner saying that when he was sent to prison and came out, the song he released ‘Am Not A Prisoner’ did not top charts so it is hard to believe that Crown’s song hit top three so quick.
In a video of him ranting, the street-hop artiste insisted that nobody knows Shallipopi and asked him to come get a record deal at Zeh Nation.
He said; “Who be that Shallipopi? they will still carry you. You wey dem just release. How many music you sing? Who sabi your face? You wey dem just release, you con dey top chart. Me wey go prison, I no top chart.
Shallipopi is a thief, he does not know how to sing, he is using streaming farm, I was taken to Prison and I did not Top chart. I am about to make you popular by calling your name no one knew you before, Your face no blow, Shallipopi come let me sign you to Zeh Nation and teach you how to sing”.

Meanwhile, it was reported earlier that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Shallippi and five others at various locations in Kaduna upon intelligence received by the Command.
The anti-graft agency secured the conviction of the accused persons on Friday, June 23 after arraigning them before Justice A. Isiaka on separate one count charges bordering on criminal impersonation.
The prosecutor said the offences committed by Crown and his colleagues are in contravention of Sections 142 (1), 57 and 308 of the Kaduna Penal Code Law, 2017 and punishable under Section 309 of the same Law.
Uzama (aka Shallipopi and Miller Maxwell) was convicted alongside Favour Chidiogo Emmanuel a.k.a Kate Banks, John Joseph aka Avail Hollywood, Joel Kator alias Alfred Hudson, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman Temidayo aka Miss Katie Official and Bethel Makuochukwu alias Violetqmartinez. Makuochukwu had two weeks earlier been convicted for money laundering.
They all pleaded guilty to the charges.
Justice Isiaka sentenced the defendants to two years imprisonment each with the option of fines. After Shallipopi paid the fine and regained his freedom, he took to his Twitter account to announce his return to the microblogging platform.
