A man has sparked reactions online after questioning singer Niniola Apata over the way she announced her husband’s death.
His reaction came shortly after news broke that Niniola had lost her husband after 13 years together, with the singer sharing emotional tributes and pictures on social media.
Reacting to the development, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to write:
“How did you keep your husband private for 13 years and now update us on his death? You didn’t want his pictures on the internet when he was alive.”
He questioned why the singer chose to keep the relationship away from the public eye throughout the marriage but later shared memories of him after his passing.
“But now you’re posting it all over the internet, now he’s gone. This doesn’t make sense at all,” he added.
Earlier, singer Teni’s elder sister, Niniola, had announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram, revealing that death had separated them after years of been together.
His comment has since generated mixed reactions, with some people agreeing with his opinion while others defended Niniola’s decision to mourn in her own way.
The news continues to spark emotional conversations on social media as fans and celebrities send condolences to the singer and her family.
