Filmmaker and influencer, Alex Unusual has slammed people who use childhood trauma as an excuse to cover up their bad behaviors.
Alex had previously rebutted an assumption of a therapist who stated that self-isolation when overwhelmed, could imply that a person faced a large number of struggles alone as a child.
In reaction, Alex took to Instagram to implore people to quit blaming their parents and others for their adult behavior.
She contended that some people had wonderful childhoods but had events as adults that influenced them in one way or another.
She also stressed that, while childhood trauma exists, however, adults should not use it to justify their negative views or poor life adaptation skills.
