Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Aggrey Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwasodwodwo segment, Eno Barony stated that many have surmised that men are more relevant than women in society, hence they are the first to be call upon when there are issues.

She said that it is high time people accept that both men and women were created the same with equal body parts and the same brain, hence whatever task a man is able to execute, a woman is also capable to execute the same task and even better.

She further stated that women are equally strong and can also make a difference in society just as a man can also contribute to the growth of the society.

In other news, UK-based Ghanaian Afro Gospel singer, Joseph Matthew has intimated that he does not belong to the renowned religion named Christianity but he is a child of God.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Joseph Matthew stated that his music has been solely to glorify the name of the Lord and not for the benefit of Christians or not in the name of Christianity.

Explaining his point, Joseph Matthew stated that Jesus never called his followers Christians even though the name was derived from his last name “Christ”. He said that Jesus only named his followers disciples and not Christians.

He validated his view by saying the name “Christians” surfaced when Jesus ascended to Heaven and his disciples continued with his ministry.
