Speaking on the AIT network, Dr. Austin Maho said: “Has anybody asked the question of why is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu afraid to use the word corruption? I just took time out over the weekend and studied all his past speeches, he has made three national speeches to Nigerians, let’s forget other speeches, three. The first one was March 1st, his acceptance speech, when he won the presidential election. The second speech, May 29th, Inauguration Day, then the third one is Democracy Day June 12. In all of his speeches, I challenge Nigerians.
“You know, the speech of a president enables you to know the mind of a president, the direction of his government, the promises he has made to you is in his speeches. So, you can always take his speeches and use it as a yardstick and judge the administration. In those three speeches I’ve never seen, go look at them, there is no where President Tinubu used the word ‘corruption’, not even talking of promising to fight corruption, none”.
