A Nigerian lady residing in Canada, who also works as A job placement officer, has sparked a heated debate by asserting that numerous immigrants of various nationalities, including Nigerians, are broke because they lack sufficient work ethic, meaning they are not working hard enough.

The controversial statements made by the young woman have sparked discussions about the challenges faced by immigrants in integrating into the North American country’s workforce.

In the video, the immigration job placement officer, whose identity remains undisclosed, claimed to have engaged in conversations with thousands of immigrants and their acquaintances.

Based on these interactions, she concluded that many immigrants are hindered by a perceived unwillingness to put in the required effort, leading to financial struggles.

According to her, a pivotal anecdote from an individual who expressed an inability to hold down two jobs as a personal support worker (PSW), earning $28 per hour, served as an illustration of the broader issue.

She used this instance to reinforce her claim that laziness is at the core of financial challenges faced by immigrants, labeling it as an “excuse” to avoid diligently pursuing employment opportunities.

She asserted that immigrants without professional roles in Canada must exert twice the effort to secure a stable livelihood.

Addressing the dynamics of the Canadian job market, the woman emphasized that her assertions were grounded in her observations, indicating that her close associate, who solely works as a PSW, managed to acquire a property valued at over $700,000 in Ottawa. She uses this as evidence that only lazy people complain about not having money in Canada.
