Why I didn’t reciprocate Ozo’s romantic gestures in BBN house – Nengi opens up

Reality TV star and former beauty queen, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, has finally revealed why she did not act romantic towards Ozoemena ‘Ozo’ Chukwu, who was smitten by her.

Recall that in 2020, during the Lockdown season, Ozo professed his love to Nengi and even broached the topic of marriage, but she was evasive about romance and going into a relationship with him.

The sports analyst was mocked by his colleagues in the house and fans over how attached he was to her, and the manner he followed Nengi around.

But despite his declaration of love on numerous occasions, Nengi deliberately avoided dancing with him during parties, and chose to dance with Laycon instead.

The Bayelsa born reality TV star has now explained that the reason she chose not to dance with Ozo was because she didn’t want to pass the wrong signal to him.

Speaking during her media tour in Lagos, Nengi said; “I didn’t want to give Ozo the wrong signal, that’s why I never danced with him like the way I did with Laycon. And Laycon rocks me wella.”

Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ ex-contestant, Seyi Awolowo recently explained why he believes brands have been avoiding Dorathy Bachor.

He said the reason firms are refusing to give Dorathy Bachor ambassadorial deal despite the fact that she was the runner-up in 2020, is because of an intimate moment she talked about.

Seyi was having a conversation with co-housemates when he said that reason many international and local brands don’t want to be associated with Dorathy could be linked to her confession during the Lockdown reunion that she engaged in oral activity with fellow housemate, Brighto.

According to the actor, no brand would love to endorse a person who would say such a thing on national television. Interestingly, Dora was among the jury that saved Seyi from eviction during the first Sunday live eviction show.

It may be recalled that Dorathy said she got intimate with Brighto as a way of removing herself from the triangle situation with Nengi and Ozo.

“The period I gave Brighto a blxxjxb was the time I wanted to remove myself from the Ozo and Nengi situation.

“At the time, Prince, who was my friend, was also trying to mend things with Tolanibaj and I didn’t want to intrude. There was just me and Brighto and I just used that opportunity. I actually used him as a distraction,” Dorathy said.
