The mother said, “I don back am o because If I leave am with the anger wey dey my body, I go beat am reach hospital.”
She explained that she was particularly upset because the rice had been purchased with the father’s money. According to her, the family was waiting for the child’s father to return home before deciding what to do.
The woman further asked, “Wetin I do this boy?”
