We should support each other more – Rose May Alaba to female artistes
Rising Austrian-Nigerian musician, Rose May Alaba, has beckoned on female artistes to do more collaborations amongst each other.
Rose May, who is the sister of football star, David Alaba, said a lot of women collaborate with their male counterparts more than their female counterparts.
She spoke while appearing as a guest on Hip TV programme, Trending, which is hosted by Big Brother Naija ex-contestant, Chinonso Oparah aka KimOprah.
The singer said; “Female artistes should support each other way more. We always have collaborations with men but what about collaborating with each other? Collaborating with each other would even help us more.
Well, it may take time because female artistes are only just starting to get recognition. Personally, I think men collaborate more because they are more open than women. We should try and change that by complementing each other.”
