The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust was established in 1979 by their son and daughter-in-law, John and Elnora Ferguson. In 1997, the significant holding of Taylor and Francis shares became beneficial when the publishing firm was floated, and its later merger with Informa further increased the worth of the shares in the Trust. About the School

Aston University is a state-owned research higher academic institution located in the city centre of Birmingham, England. Aston started as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, growing into the UK’s premier College of Advanced Technology in 1956. Aston University obtained its royal approval from Queen Elizabeth II on 22 April 1966.

All over the campus there are also different open-access IT suites, providing computer and internet access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They provide access to a variety of software applications, database systems and computer-aided learning resources.

• Possess a provisional or unconditional offer of admission for one of the above programs
• Be a citizen of an African or South American nation
• Possess a 2:1 degree qualification or equivalent in an applicable subject for the program you are applying for
• Be a self-funded scholar
• Submit a strong personal statement when putting together your program application.
