For the first time since the reality show’s finale, ex-Big Brother Naija housemates and former besties, Beauty and Phyna, have finally tackled the ‘Groovy issue.’

Beauty and Groovy were lovers before her disqualification; but, after her exit from the program, her friend, Phyna, swooped in on her man.

During the reunion, Beauty Tukura stated that she didn’t mind seeing her estranged love interest, Groovy, in a relationship with her friend, Phyna, after she was disqualified from the reality show.

Beauty claimed that Phyna was someone she actually liked and stuck up for throughout her time in the house, but she also claimed that Phyna didn’t have a single good thing to say about her because of a man.

The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked: “What do you think first of all when you started seeing that [Groovy and Phyna’s relationship] happened?”

Beauty said: “Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with that. And I will tell you why because first, I’m very in touch with reality. Does that make sense? I’m as real as they come.

“Even when I left the [Big Brother] House, my first interview they asked me about him [Groovy] and everything, I said that I felt sorry about what I said about him. I was very clear, I was like, I don’t expect him not to move on.

“So, I never have a problem if Groovy was going to be with anybody else. I’m not a witch. I will not have a problem with it.”

On why she snubbed Phyna at a party after the reality show, Beauty said, “Because I watched a clip of this girl [Phyna] saying I should die… She just went on, now she’s with Groovy sef, if you want to die, go and die.”

Defending herself, Phyna says she didn’t mean the things she said, “I’ll put that on my temper.”
