Nigerian clergyman and failed presidential aspirant, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has given his members advice on which presidential candidate to vote for in the 2023 election.
While speaking to his congregation on the theme “A New Nigeria is Possible,” the preacher exhorted them to vote for someone who can change Nigeria into a wonderful country.
Pastor Tunde Bakare who is the founder and leader of Citadel Global Community Church also explained that he received no votes in the primaries because he refused to budge on his principles.
Bakare said,
“Our heads remain unbowed because we did not compromise on the values that are integral to building a New Nigeria.
“For us, the means has always been as important as the end. This is why we confidently wear our “zero votes” as a badge of “zero tolerance for a certain kind of politics.
“This is not the work of just one man or woman or just one party, but the calling upon every Nigerian worthy of the name.”
Three days before this, Hilda Dokubo, a veteran Nollywood actress has joined Tv host, Daddy Freeze in ridiculing Pastor Tunde Bakare over his presidential candidacy loss for his party, APC,
Daddy Freeze made a mockery of him by asking how a pastor could spend $100 million on presidential forms and still not get a vote.
“A pastor uses 100m to buy form and can’t get a vote and y’all say religion no be our problem?”.
Hilda Dokubo, also joined the OAP to laugh at Pastor Tunde Bakare on her Instagram page.
Hilda Dokubo wondered whether the pastor didn’t vote for himself, which would explain why he didn’t receive any votes.
