Probe ‘Boko Haram plot’ to attack Atiku – Timi Frank to FG

Timi Frank, a former deputy spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asked the federal government to probe an alleged plot to attack Atiku Abubakar.

The police in Adamawa said they arrested four suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, who were plotting to attack the residence of Abubakar, standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last presidential election.

In a statement on Monday, Frank said the authorities should beef up security around the former vice-president.

“Security information reaching us earlier today has it in authority that about four Boko Haram members all the way from Danboa, Borno State made their way at about 9:45pm local time yesterday (23/07/2023) to the Yola residence of His Excellency, the Waziri Adamawa (Atiku Abubakar) and identified themselves upon confirmation of the residence as to their mission in Adamawa,” he said.

“I have had a heart-to-heart chat with him and I told him that I’m available to offer whatever development advice that he would require of me. Presidential election tribunal: ‘I See rerun but forces will fight it’ – Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has revealed that he foresees a rerun of the 2023 presidential election but claims forces behind the election results will stand firmly against it.

Primate Ayodele said there are leakages in the judiciary which are not well packaged, adding that it would later expose the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He claimed that the APC has realized that there are no two ways to the election tribunal and is seriously monitoring the proceedings to ensure nothing goes wrong in favour of the opposition.

In a statement by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele said: “If the tribunal wants to be fair, the best is to call for a rerun but forces behind the case will want the election result to remain as it is.
