Former Ation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode on Sunday said the notion that the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu cannot be trusted is absurd.

He said no one appreciated the virtues of loyalty and courage under fire and stood by those who had fought for and entered the heat of battle with him more than Tinubu. According to him, the president-elect is unlike Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and their divisive, garrulous supporters, saying he is not flippant.

Fani-Kayode, in a post on his social media handles, stated that Tinubu’s victory is for all Nigerians and that his objective is to carry everyone along and unite the country. Battle For Bakhmut Is Over — Putin

The founder, of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Afe Babalola SAN, has advised the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to seek debt forgiveness for the country when he assumes office.

UK to ban Nigerian students, and others from bringing family over

Federal Govt Takes Fight Against Open Defecation To Edo IDP Camp

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq, at the weekend in Benin City, Edo State, reiterated the Federal Government’s determination to end open defecation in the country by 2025.

She said the practice with its attendant negative health implications is a war that must be won, noting that government at all levels must join hands to ensure access to improved toilet facilities. Speaking at the launch of a sensitization campaign at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Home for the Needy Foundation, Uhogua, O North-East local government area of the State, on the theme, “Clean Nigeria-Use The Toilet”, she lamented that Nigeria still tops the global league of countries in which open defecation is prevalent.

Represented by the Director of Social Development, Taiwo Bashorun, the Minister noted that one of the key objectives of the campaign was advancing towards a culture of safe defecation and ending open defecation. “Additional data presented by UNICEF showed that an estimated 120 million people in the country lack access to improved sanitation facilities or facilities that hygienically separate human waste from human contact.
