Actress Moyo Lawal has finally reacted to the now-viral video of her which was leaked online on Saturday. 

The video which shows the actress engaging in a sexual act with a person, now revealed to be her ex-fiance, has since got many talking online with the majority claiming that the ‘A Time To Heal’ actress leaked the tape herself. 

Taking to her Instagram page on Sunday, Lawal first confirmed she was the person in the tape before debunking rumours that she authorised the distribution of the said tape.

A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust, her statement began.

As the G-20 summit ended on Sunday, President Bola Tinubu held bilateral talks with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz who expressed interest to visit Nigeria in October.

I am happy to inform you of my desire to visit you in Nigeria in October, which will allow us to carry forward these initiatives, the German leader told Tinubu as both leaders conferred on the sidelines of the 18th G-20 Summit in New Delhi, India.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement he signed on Sunday titled, President Tinubu formally meets with three major counterparts in economic development diplomacy; advances to practical next steps in bilateral relations.

Ngelale said the meeting Scholz presented a unique opportunity to expand ties of prosperity for Nigerians but with a pragmatic approach toward ensuring the effective execution of agreements struck.

The Edo State Police Command has arrested a Togolese national, Michael Agbalo, 35, for allegedly killing one Maharazu Umar, over a rift at work.

The suspect was said to have contracted Umar to assist him in a construction work when a misunderstanding ensued and in the process killed the victim.

The state command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwanbuzor, said one Clement Obagbikoko, reported the case at Etete Division, Benin.

Obagbikoko said he hired the suspect to carry out construction works in his compound and the suspect later brought the deceased who assisted him to do the job.

A Royal Navy warship, HMS Trent, on Sunday arrived in Lagos, Nigeria.

This is Trent’s second visit to Nigeria, as part of its regional mission to aid allies and partners in driving down illegal activities including piracy and illicit trafficking.

According to a statement from the British High Commission, the visit would help deliver capacity training and support maritime security in the region.

The commission said the HMS Trent departed Gibraltar carrying an expert boarding team of UK Royal Marines and a Puma surveillance drone, adding that HMS Trent’s mission is to support West African allies helping countries to develop capability to fight illegal crimes at sea and ensure they can play an effective role in bringing stability to wider West Africa.
