Tinubu Is The Only Gov That Brought People From Delta, Edo, & Anambra To Work In His Cabinet-Oyalowo
During an interview with Arise , Ayobami Oyalowo, an economist and development expert, stated that Tinubu is the only person who brought people from Delta State, Edo State, and Anambra State to work in Bi’s cabinet when he was governor. He added that his antecedents in selecting qualified leaders speak well of him.
He further stated that Nigerians should be satisfied that they have someone they can trust and call a president, pointing out that he’s going to prioritize competence in his cabinet.
According to him, “If we know the track record of this man, I always use his example. I remember during the campaign, I sat here and said, “Look, President Tinubu, then as a governor, was the only governor in his set who bulked the trend, and what was that trend? He brought in people from Edo State, people from Delta State, people from Anambra State, who were non-Yoruba speakers, to be in his cabinet in a Yoruba state. So it tells you clearly that President Tinubu will always prioritize competence, so we should be satisfied with what he has done in the past and with the kind of caliber of people he has selected as his advisors. He tells you clearly that he’ll be looking at competence, and I can assure Nigerians that from his antecedents because you’ll always use the past to judge what will happen in the future.”
