Tinubu: Incoming Administration Must Probe Buhari’s Administration – Shehu Sani

A civil rights activist and a former Senator from Kaduna State, Senator Shehu Sani, has insisted that the only way that Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, can restore the lost fortunes of Nigeria would be to probe the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari; after he insisted that the President has set a trap for the former Lagos governor through his last minute engagements.

Sani had said, “If there is a need, he should immediately set up a Committee or panel to probe this administration; all the loans that have been sourced and the projects they have been used for, this incoming administration must probe this administration.”

Sani, who spoke during an interview on Arise Television, insisted that Tinubu’s administration must set up a panel to check the activities of President Muhammadu Buhari. He insisted that it would be the only way to restore the lost fortunes of the Nation. He had earlier found fault in Buhari’s last minute borrowing, issuing of contracts, issuing of appointments, and many others. According to him, the President’s actions are a trap for the former Lagos governor.

Senator Sani expressed pity for the former Lagos governor. According to him, the former Lagos governor would inherit debt, economic instability, insecurity, and others from Buhari. He insisted that there is no good in covering Buhari.
