An X user has sparked reactions online after making an unverified claim about Nigerian DJ and music personality Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, and her decision to remain unmarried.

The social media user, identified as Mekwafendi, made the claim while commenting on Cuppy’s relationship status.
DJ Cuppy, who is in her 30s, has previously been linked to different relationships, including her highly publicised romance with British boxer and internet personality Ryan Taylor. The relationship eventually came to an end.
Reacting to discussions about her being unmarried, Mekwafendi alleged that her father’s actions were responsible for her current relationship status.
However, the claim has not been substantiated, and there is no evidence provided to support the allegation.
