“The Passport Office Said I Dressed Indecently & They Said I Must Dress Well Before I Can Go In”Simi

Popular Nigerian female singer, Simi has used her most recent Instagram post to reveal her experience at the passport office, where she was told to go back because of her dressing. She took to her Instagram page to share the post, where she disclosed that they said she was indecently dressed when she went to the passport office, and they refused to let her in.

She made it known that they told her to go back and dress decently and that she had to call the person who was helping her. She stated that one of their workers told them I’m Simi, but still, the man at the gate insisted that I should change my clothes before I went in. She revealed that she was forced to go back and had to wear another dress before she was later allowed to go in.

In the statement she made in the video, she said, “The passport office said I dressed indecently, and they said I must dress well before I can go in. So I called the person that was helping me, and he told them I’m Simi, but they still didn’t allow me to go in. I feel embarrassed, and I was forced to go back and change my clothes to cover my body.”
