Swearing-In Tinubu Does Not Tie The Hands Of The Court- PDP Legal Team.

According to the Whistler Nigeria, the legal team of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has said that swearing-in Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect of Nigeria is a ceremony that does not tie the hands of the court.

Atiku’s lawyer, Chris Uche SAN, in a statement on Tuesday, urged the PDP supporters not to lose sleep ahead of the inauguration of Tinubu which is slated for May 29th 2023, as in his opinion, elections can still be overturned by the court regardless of whether or not a previously declared winner has been sworn in, and because of that, the president-elect can still be sacked after inauguration.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja consolidated all the petitions brought before them into one after they have established that all the petitions are aimed at the same thing, which is to disqualify Tinubu.

However, the APC and INEC lawyers didn’t speak to the press after the tribunal gave the fresh directive on the petition challenging the election.
