According to him, eligible students will have a one-month window, beginning August 20, 2026, to apply through an online portal provided by his office.
He said the latest edition would provide a total of N300 million in bursary awards.
“This edition will disburse a total of Three Hundred Million Naira (N300,000,000) in bursary awards.
“It is part of Senator Sunday Karimi’s commitment, in collaboration with the ‘Win With Tinubu’, to support education and empower the youths and students of Kogi State in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
“This bursary is designed to provide financial assistance to students, relieve pressure on their parents/guardians, and bring to the grassroots the practical ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
Karimi said the initiative was founded on the belief that investing in students would contribute to the future development of Kogi West, Kogi State and Nigeria.
He explained that students of public universities, polytechnics, monotechnics and colleges of education were eligible to apply.
The senator, however, advised applicants to follow the application process through the designated online portal and ensure they had accounts with conventional commercial banks.
He specifically cautioned applicants against using online or fintech accounts for the disbursement.
