The Kano State Fire Service has lost its Public Relations Officer, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi.
Abdullahi died on Wednesday in Kano State, according to an official of the fire service.
His death was confirmed by PFS2 Muhammad Ibrahim Nasiru, who heads the fire service formation in Danbatta Local Government Area.
The late spokesman was reportedly buried at about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Kano State.
Abdullahi was a familiar voice in the state’s emergency response efforts, having served as the public face of the Kano State Fire Service.

In his capacity as spokesman, he regularly provided information to the public on fire outbreaks, rescue operations and other emergencies across the state.
His death is expected to be felt within the fire service community and among residents who relied on his updates during emergency situations.
