Roads are empty – UK-based Nigerian expresses shock as residents run indoors because of ‘small sun’ (Video)
A Nigerian man residing in the United Kingdom has expressed amazement over the lifestyle of white people.
He took to video-sharing site, TikTok to post a clip of him walking on roads without anyone else in sight.
The man explained that the roads are all empty because residents chose to run back home because of their fear of the sun.
According to the giy who spoke in the Igbo language, a precautionary advice from the UK government to her citizens was what led to the streets being abandoned.
He said the authorities had issued a public warning to citizens earlier about the danger of stepping out that day as the sun will be very hot.
However, being that he is a Nigerian who is used to going about his daily activities under the scorching sun in Nigeria, it felt like a normal sunny day for him.
The lad also revealed that their employer also took the warning serious and had to give everyone three hours break fro work so they could pour water on their heads. But he said that he used the time and opportunity to do something else with himself.
The young man wh was giving a tour of the empty road made fun of the sun in UK, saying it cannot be compared to Upper Iweka’s hotness he was used to while still in Nigeria.

Talking about life abroad, CorrectNG had reported how a Nigerian lady lamented over the hassles of living and working in Europe as immigrants.
She said that being in any European country is not as blissful as many people back in Nigeria may have been led to believe.
The young woman showed off what she does for a living and explained that it is what puts food on her table.
She could be seen packing hay with her hands which she said would eventually be carried to another location by a machine.
According to her, ‘Europe no easy’ and if she were in Africa she would probably not be doing that type of job.
She emphasised the need for persons like herself who are in Europe, to tell their countrymen that the continent is not hassle-free.
