Bola Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi ahead of the high-level Africa-France Summit jointly hosted by William Ruto and Emmanuel Macron.
Reports indicate that the Nigerian president landed in Nairobi at about 12:15 a.m. on Monday.
The summit is expected to focus on major issues including climate action, digital transformation, energy transition, infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic cooperation between African countries and France.
During the visit, Tinubu is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with African and French leaders, engage with investors and business executives, and promote Nigeria’s reform agenda in critical sectors such as energy, infrastructure, technology, and trade.
Following the summit, the Nigerian leader will travel to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum scheduled to hold from May 14 to May 15.
