Phyno Tackles The Issue Of “Igbo Artists” Not Helping Upcoming Ones

Popular Nigerian rapper, singer and producer, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike better known as Phyno has revealed that he is going all out to help Igbo rappers to find their feet.

Phyno was quizzed about the perception of people that Igbo artists do not help each other unlike Yoruba stars. He revealed that he has a lot of many young artists on his payroll for 4 years now who will soon be unveiled and probably signed into “Penthause” record label after grooming them well.

He said: People say things they are not sure of, that is the world we found ourselves now, i believe a whole lot of Igbo music stars out there are also contributing massively in growing talents across Igbo land and beyond, but may not be noticed or spotted because the news didn’t hit social media handles.
