The Oyo State Government has commenced the demolition of a property allegedly connected to the abduction of the sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her twin children.
The property, located within Lakoun Estate along the Olomi-Olojuoro Road in Oluyole Local Government Area, was reportedly identified by security operatives during investigations into the kidnapping incident that shocked residents of the state.
Government officials, accompanied by security personnel, arrived at the location on Monday and began pulling down the structure believed to have served as a temporary base for the kidnappers.
Eyewitnesses said demolition equipment was deployed to the estate while armed police officers secured the area throughout the exercise.
Residents gathered around the scene as the operation progressed, with many expressing support for efforts aimed at tackling criminal activities within residential communities.
Victims Rescued After Police Operation
The demolition comes days after the successful rescue of Adelabu’s sister and her twin sons, who were abducted last Wednesday.

The victims regained their freedom on Saturday following a coordinated police operation that reportedly led security operatives to the location linked to the suspects.
