Nigerian Hip Hop star, Panshak Zamani also known as Ice Prince, has boasted that no rapper in Nigeria can beat him in a freestyle battle.
He stated this when he appeared as a guest on Echo Room’s The Linkuppodcast, saying that MI Abaga and Mode 9 are the only ones that can outrap him.
Ice Prince said he is not interested in being mentioned during Hip Hop conversations neither does he want his name to be among the list of best rappers.
He said his problem with such conversation is because a lot of Nigerians do not understand what Nigerian rap is supposed to be like.
The ‘Aboki’ crooner said he does not rate those who think real Hip Hop entails emulating American aristes like Lupe Fiaszo, Talib Kweli, Common and a few others.
Ice Prince stated that if any Emcee is pitted against him for a rap battle he will defeat all of them and it is only MI or Mode 9 that can beat him, but added that even the two know that he is a formidable lyricist.
The artiste said; “I promise you, none of them can out rap me, put me on a beat with any of the so called rappers say make we rap, I promise you, if not maybe MI or Mode 9, none of them can out rap me.”
